Working on an official TOS
are you using unstructured api? can i assume the same terms apply?
Its our own in-house solution. Does not use unstructured at all.

Probably very similar terms yes
hey @Logan M is it available yet? i could not find it here https://cloud.llamaindex.ai/parse
let me know if you need help putting them together
Sorry for the delay, we are going through our lawyers. Tentitvely within a week :PSadge:

You also hereby grant each other User a non-exclusive license to access your User Content through the Service, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display, edit, perform, and otherwise interact with such User Content, in each case in accordance with the Service’s functionalities and these Terms.

So, basically, whatever content I submit via API, LLamaIndex gets pretty much unrestricted license to?
I also read it as whatever content I submit via API to parse, LlamaIndex can have an access to?
Is that the idea?

What is this?!
I am not your lawyer, but because I like your service, I would highly recommend that you communicate to your lawyers in simple terms what access and scope of rights you really need, can technically access, and not let them use off-the-shelf, all-encompassing license terms.

If that was indeed your idea -- to get the maximum rights to User Content submitted via your API -- that's a totally different story. You would definitely lose me as a customer.
hey @MitchMcD , really appreciate the feedback here.

This is not intentional, just a slip-up, and should've scrutinized the doc from our laywer more.
Going to revise this asap and keep you updated.
