It also looks like the orchestrator is LLM based, so there will always be a chance of non-determinism. Is that understanding correct as well

The orchestrator doesn't have to be agent based, it could be anything.

There is also a pipeline orchestrator

The base class is only two methods. Basically just "given the state of a task, what happens next"
