Happy Monday all Has anyone ever run

Happy Monday, all! Has anyone ever run into OpenAI GPT refusing to generate JSON? I'm ending my prompt with "Format response as JSON" and it's saying "I'm sorry, as a language model AI, I am not capable of generating JSON format" which is silly because I've seen it generate JSON before.

fwiw I did manage to get it to generate JSON by changing that prompt part to be "Format your answer as a JSON array"

Still curious though if anyone has run into this before and if they have any thoughts on why it's ok with 1 prompt but not the other.

LOL I feel like this is just the nature of LLMs tbh. Very finicky, especially gpt 3.5 (I find that model really difficult to work with)
