The docs recently got a major overhaul didn't they, at least in layout & organization anyway

yessir. (mostly it was a re-skin, plus adding back a ton of missing api reference)

Sadly it seems like the .html links broke when switching to mkdocs

About to make a release that better handles redirects (i.e. like the above link will redirect properly)

The big thing that is really nice is that the LHS menu is shorter with major sections now listed in the navbar.

Yes! That was my favorite part

Makes navigation a bit more sane
