Hey, does anybody know if there's a place to specify an alternative vector similarity function other than the default, cosine? I've looked through all the relevant documentation and I just can't find that option.

It's hard-coded to cosine at the moment. Other vector db integrations usually allow you to modify it though

Tbh there's barely any difference in my experience

I hear ya, but also, some embedding models are optimized for different similarity functions and it's just a bit odd that a framework that specializes in this type of application doesn't have this pretty basic functionality

Feel free to make a PR for it (the beauty of open-source), or use vector db that lets you config it 🙂
